Nicole DeVanon

Nicole DeVanon is an experienced litigator with expertise handling all aspects of civil litigation, including arbitration, mediation, and trial.  Nicole focuses her litigation practice on labor and employment matters, disputes involving health insurance coverage, medical malpractice appeals, and general business matters.  Before joining Cole Pedroza, Nicole spent ten years practicing as a plaintiff’s attorney handling cases involving catastrophic injuries and wrongful death.  In that time, she tried several cases to verdict.  Nicole brings her vast experience and unique perspective to her work at Cole Pedroza.

 

Nicole was admitted to the California bar in 2012, after being sworn in by her father, a Los Angeles Superior Court Judge for over 30 years.  Since passing the bar in 2012, Nicole has worked as a litigator.  Nicole graduated cum laude from University of Colorado at Boulder in 2009.  She went on to Southwestern Law School where she graduated cum laude in 2012.  During Nicole’s time in law school, she clerked at a prestigious plaintiff’s law firm in Los Angeles.

 

Nicole is a board member of Inner City Law Center’s Pro Bono Council and dedicates time each year to handling pro bono matters for Los Angeles’ homeless population and veterans.
