Zena Jacobsen

Zena Jacobsen handles all aspects of civil litigation, including arbitration, mediation and trial as well as civil writs and appeals.  Presently, Zena focuses her litigation practice on insurance and labor and employment matters, and on disputes involving medical malpractice claims, and general business matters.  Before joining Cole Pedroza in 2017, Zena was a senior associate at Quinn, Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP, where she represented plaintiffs and defendants in all aspects of complex commercial litigation, with a focus on structured finance litigation, antitrust and class actions.

 

Zena graduated with honors from University of California, Santa Cruz in 2004, with a degree in Legal Studies.  Zena earned her J.D. at the University of California, Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall) in 2008 where she held an editorial position on the Berkeley Journal of Employment and Labor Law and participated as a ABA National Appellate team member and coach on the moot court team.

 

Zena is admitted to practice in California, New York, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
